Constraints of edg/international instruments.

Thank you for your responses - they provided clarification - not confusion.

NEED TO INVOLVE ALL PARTIES IN THIS EDG: I agree with your points. Instead of having a 'them versus us' viewpoint, we need to involve all interested parties in this discussion of wise practices from the beginning. This will include investors, developers, politicians, communities etc. etc. and we are not doing this at the moment, our discussion is somewhat one sided. This is a constraint that we need to consider immediately, or as a follow-up to this electronic discussion.

INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATIONS: Your idea for using the WP criteria as a basic instrument for assessing development activities and then using a WP seal is intriguing and needs further development. I guess this could be something similar to the 'Green Globe' certification that already exists as an environmental standard for the tourism and travel industry.
